LIVING ROOM. Potential for creating diverse ambient within one room opened possibilities for different aesthetic approach on various levels. First, entrance zone itself should have unvaried appearance in order to enhance visual effect of entering the living room. Due to previous intent to brighten up the space as much as possible and provide visual dynamic by choosing forms and materials that both contrast and complement, I provided warm dark shade for the entrance zone and light textured gray for the rest of the space. Having this set, I oriented the entire room towards fireplace, and in order to exploit the asset of space between three windows and make it both part of the living room and zone of the outside joy, I placed mezzanine level in line with fireplace along the wall and below the window. My thought was to add some sort of unconventional seating/ storage space/ table for spending some casual time around the living room. The entire frontal look is based on fireplace itself, whose original shape and color were kept but enriched by adding some wooden details.
BEDROOM. Color for the bedroom is chosen to best enhance visual effect of Oak furniture. Elements fit posted dimensions.
Thank you for this feedback. I appreciate it. The design would be adjusted to both wishes and possibilities if I had known this, but either way, I'm glad that you liked it. Thank you!
